For the first time since its establishment in 2009 British Wildlife Photography Awards are now on display in the Beaney Museum in Canterbury for a limited amount of time.

First time to go on display outside of London

More than 100 photographers have managed to capture the British wonders of the fauna in a way you’ve never seen before. The complete collection has 12 categories ranging from marine life and animal behavior to urban wildlife.

it’s the first time ever that the collection has gone on display outside of London, making Kent its very first stop on a tour around the country.


The opening weekend included an amazing performance of Peter and the Wolf as well as some interesting photography and wildlife workshops.

According to Kentonline.co.uk it happened to be one of the busiest weekends of the year in the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge!

If you’re interested in this years BWPA’s and live somewhere around Kent be sure to plan a visit before November 15.

Entree is free of charge but donations are highly valued and will go towards putting on future exhibitions.
